ChatGPT maker is set to reveal a new search product to rival Google in the next few days, report says
The creators of ChatGPT are poised to release a new search product to rival Google, according to reports. The new feature, expected to be confirmed by Microsoft-backed OpenAI on Monday, will allow users to search the web via the popular chatbot. The details of how this will function have not been revealed, but it is likely that the AI will search the web for users and generate results based on what it finds. For example, this could let users ask ChatGPT a question and receive much more detailed answers that cite web sources like Wikipedia or online blogs. If true, it could present the biggest challenge yet to Google's search engine supremacy.

Opinion: Satya Nadella Declares Second Search War On Google
Not too long ago, marketers and search engine optimisers used to avidly watch out for something called the Google Dance. As the World Wide Web expands constantly with new websites, and pages are added and some deleted, Google's famed search algorithm constantly adjusts its ranking. It crawls through these pages, gauges their relevance, sniffs out frauds, and modifies how sites appear on its page. This is what is called the Google Dance. I thought of it recently when Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft, revised the definition of Google Dance, saying in an interview, "I hope with our innovation they (Google) will definitely want to come out and show that they can dance. I want people to know that we made them dance."

Search engine Bing is showing child PORNOGRAPHY
Microsoft's Bing search engine shows results for sickening child pornography images, research has found. The disturbing revelation discovered that it was easy to find illegal photos of under-age boys and girls on the site. Image searches for'porn kids,' 'porn CP' (a known abbreviation for'child pornography') and'nude family kids' all produced the exploitative content. People looking for the horrific content only needed to turn off SafeSearch filter to find the imagery. An investigation commissioned by TechCrunch found that Bing also suggested other disturbing phrases to help paedophiles target children.
